Railway Recruitment Board (RRB)
The RRB Junior Engineer (JE) CBT-1 is the first stage of the Railway Recruitment Board Junior Engineer recruitment process. It is a screening examination conducted for Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) posts. The examination consists of four sections: Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and General Science. Candidates qualifying CBT-1 are shortlisted for CBT-2. 90 Minutes
Marking
1 mark is awarded for every correct answer. The examination consists of 100 objective questions carrying a total of 100 marks. CBT-1 is qualifying in nature and is conducted only for shortlisting candidates for CBT-2.
Negative marking
1/3 (0.33) mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. There is no penalty for unanswered questions.
