FAQ

Questions about NextExam

Clear answers about eligibility discovery, saved jobs, career routes, data accuracy, and responsible use.

What does NextExam help me discover?

NextExam helps students and job seekers discover government jobs, exams, PSU roles, scientist posts, teaching routes, defence entries, banking roles, and future opportunities based on their profile.

Is NextExam an official government website?

No. NextExam is an independent discovery platform. Always verify eligibility, dates, fees, syllabus, and application instructions from the official notification before applying.

How is eligibility calculated?

The eligibility engine checks age, qualification, degree, branch, state, category, and job-specific requirements from the jobs database. It also highlights future paths when a user may need GATE, Masters, Ph.D., or another qualifying step.

Why do I see closed or result-stage jobs?

Previous jobs help users understand recurring recruitment patterns, expected routes, selection process, salary, and future preparation targets.

Can I save and track jobs?

Yes. Signed-in users can save jobs, mark jobs as interested, track applied jobs, update application status, and manage email preferences from the dashboard.

Does NextExam support category relaxation?

Where relaxation data is available, the platform shows it and applies broad age-relaxation logic. Official category, domicile, disability, ex-servicemen, and post-specific relaxations must be checked from the latest notification.

How often should job data be updated?

Admins should update active notifications, closing dates, result links, and official PDFs whenever new official notices are released.
