RBI Grade B (DR-General) Phase-II Syllabus 2026
Reserve Bank of India (RBI)
The RBI Grade B (DR-General) Phase-II Examination is the second stage of the RBI Grade B Officer recruitment process. It consists of three papers: Economic & Social Issues (ESI), English (Writing Skills), and Finance & Management (FM). All three papers are conducted online. Candidates who qualify Phase-II are shortlisted for the Interview. The marks obtained in Phase-II and Interview are considered for the final merit list.

Paper-I: 90 Minutes Paper-II: 90 Minutes Paper-III: 90 Minutes
Marking
Each paper carries 100 marks, making a total of 300 marks for Phase-II. Paper-I and Paper-III contain both objective and descriptive questions, while Paper-II is entirely descriptive.
Negative marking
Negative marking applies only to the objective questions in Paper-I (ESI) and Paper-III (Finance & Management). 0.25 (one-fourth) of the marks assigned to a question are deducted for every incorrect answer. There is no negative marking for descriptive questions.
