The RBI Assistant Main Examination is the second stage of the RBI Assistant recruitment process. It is an online objective examination consisting of five sections: Reasoning Ability, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge. Candidates who qualify the Main Examination are required to appear for the Language Proficiency Test (LPT), which is qualifying in nature. Duration

135 Minutes

Marking

1 mark is awarded for every correct answer. The Main Examination consists of 200 objective questions carrying a total of 200 marks. Candidates who qualify the Main Examination are called for the Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

Negative marking

0.25 (one-fourth) of the marks assigned to a question are deducted for every incorrect answer. There is no penalty for unanswered questions.
