Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC)
The LIC Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) Examination is conducted by the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) to recruit Assistant Administrative Officers. The selection process consists of the Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview. The Preliminary Examination is qualifying in nature, while the Main Examination and Interview determine the final merit.
Duration
Prelims: 60 Minutes Mains: 2 Hours + 30 Minutes (Descriptive)
Marking
* Preliminary: 1 mark for each correct answer. * Main: Marks are awarded according to the section prescribed by LIC. * Descriptive English carries 25 marks.
Negative marking
0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer in the objective papers. There is no negative marking for the descriptive test.
