Foundation

Weeks 1-4

Build strong fundamentals across all Tier-I subjects.

  • Read the official SSC CGL syllabus and understand the Tier-I exam pattern.
  • Complete arithmetic fundamentals including number system, percentage, ratio, average, profit and loss, time and work, and time, speed and distance.
  • Build English grammar fundamentals and start daily vocabulary and reading practice.
  • Cover basic reasoning topics including analogy, classification, series, coding-decoding, blood relations, and direction sense.
  • Begin General Awareness preparation with Indian history, geography, polity, economy, and general science.
  • Start solving basic topic-wise questions after completing each concept.

Weeks 5-8

Strengthen concepts through exam-level questions and previous year practice.

  • Practice Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning questions every day.
  • Solve English error spotting, cloze tests, sentence improvement, vocabulary, and comprehension questions.
  • Cover important General Awareness topics and maintain concise revision notes.
  • Start solving SSC CGL previous year questions topic-wise.
  • Attempt one sectional test for each subject every week.
  • Track weak topics and revise them before moving to advanced practice.

Mock Test Build-up

Weeks 9-12

Improve speed, accuracy, and question selection.

  • Attempt one full-length SSC CGL Tier-I mock every week.
  • Solve previous year papers under timed conditions.
  • Analyse every mock and maintain a mistake tracker.
  • Identify topics causing repeated mistakes.
  • Revise weak chapters and retry incorrect questions.
  • Increase sectional test frequency for Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning.

Revision and Exam Readiness

Weeks 13-16

Stabilize performance and become exam-ready.

  • Attempt two to three full-length mocks every week.
  • Revise Quantitative Aptitude formulas and shortcut methods.
  • Revise English grammar rules, vocabulary, and frequently repeated questions.
  • Revise General Awareness notes and important current affairs.
  • Reattempt incorrect questions from previous mocks and PYQs.
  • Practice complete Tier-I papers within the prescribed time.
  • Keep the final week focused on revision and avoid starting large new topics.
